Dear Colleagues,

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to invite you and a guest to attend our 2025 Corporate Counsel Forum.

The Forum will be held from Thursday, September 18 through Sunday, September 21, 2025, at The Resort at Pelican Hill, located in Newport Coast, California. On Thursday, September 18, you’ll be greeted by refreshing ocean breezes, breathtaking views, and an evening reception. General sessions covering a variety of relevant topics and offering CLE credit will take place on Friday and Saturday mornings, with afternoons free for networking with corporate counsel from across the country or enjoying optional recreational activities. On Friday evening, we’ll gather for a cocktail reception on the Mar Vista Terrace, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Afterward, we’ll dine together in the nearby Mar Vista Ballroom. The resort will also be the setting for our Saturday evening reception and dinner.

Airline tickets, hotel accommodations, ground transportation in California, and all scheduled programs, meals, and sponsored activities will be paid for and hosted by Snell & Wilmer. We look forward to seeing you and your guest at the 2025 Corporate Counsel Forum.

Golf Tournament

On Saturday afternoon, attendees have the option to participate in our hosted golf activity. The Resort at Pelican Hill features 36 championship holes set over 400 acres of stunning, coastal land, adjacent to thousands of acres of preserve that make up the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve®. The two courses – Ocean North and Ocean South – have been designed by Tom Fazio, who has more courses ranked in the top 100 than any other golf course architect. Experience golf in a way like no other with panoramic ocean views from virtually every hole.

The Spa at Pelican Hill

On Friday and Saturday, we invite guests to participate in individual spa activities. Whether it is replenishment, invigoration, or relaxation you seek, The Spa at Pelican Hill offers 22 luxurious treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, and a full-service salon. The Acqua Colonnade features whirlpools, steam rooms, and saunas. When you register online for the spa activity, we will send you a brochure that outlines the treatments that are available. We encourage you to make advanced reservations, as space is limited. Spa reservation agents are available to advise and assist you with your treatment selection. Feeling adventurous and wishing to go out on your own to explore all Orange County has to offer? Additional activities available nearby include choices for land and sea enthusiasts alike. Choose from beach activities such as swimming, kayaking, and surfing. You can also explore the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve® which offers opportunities for guided hikes, interpretive walks, and bicycle excursions.

The Event Lawn will serve as a stunning backdrop for our Welcome Reception. This impeccably manicured oval lawn offers majestic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Nestled on a terraced hill, Mar Vista is a private location showcasing exquisite ocean views and manicured golf courses. Terraces and an outdoor fireplace add to this peaceful and tranquil setting.

The Pacific Terrace is the perfect setting as we gather together for the closing reception and dinner.

Accomodations

Offering the amenities of a luxury resort accented with the comforts of home, guests will stay in a one-story bungalow with a private terrace. Many bungalows offer an ocean view.

Personal Services

The hotel offers a fitness center with Matrix and Precor equipment, personal training, exercise consultation, and wellness classes, as well as a full-service salon offering personal hair and nail treatments.

Registration Desk

The Forum registration desk will open on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The registration desk will be located on the terrace in Andrea Restaurant, which is near the main lobby and front desk. Additional days and hours for the registration desk will be posted onsite.

Hospitality Suite

Our hospitality suite will be located in the Newport Room. The hospitality suite will be staffed daily during the Forum to answer questions, handle special or last minute requests, help with directions, provide information on Forum events, and assist with accommodations, travel, transportation, activities, and more.

Gratuities

Snell & Wilmer will compensate drivers, bellmen, housekeepers, and staff at all planned group functions and activities. We recommend you tip only for exceptional service or for services not included in the Forum agenda.

Weather

Known for its ideal climate, this coastal location offers temperate weather year round. During the month of September, average temperatures range from a low of 60 to a high of 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Suggested Attire

Attire for all sessions will be resort casual except for the Friday evening reception and dinner, for which the attire will be business casual (no tie required) or cocktail attire.

Time Zone

Newport Coast is located in the Pacific Time Zone.

Travel Arrangements and Registration

Snell & Wilmer will provide roundtrip airline tickets for you and your guest, as well as host ground transportation for you while in California.
